PENDLETON RANCH from Virginia in 1870.  He moved to the Gainesville
area to be near his father.  A. J. Pendleton lived here until his death in
1901.  A.J. Pendleton is buried here on
PENDLETON RANCH.
The Son of A.J. Pendleton, Eldridge Haze Pendleton, was in the wild
west Above is a portrait of Haze.  Left and below left are pictures of
Haze and the Wild West Shows. Below right is a picture of Haze and
Brown Buck.
His daughter, Cora, lived on PENDLETON RANCH as
a child, but eventually moved to the city.
They had a son, Colonel James H. Adams
After Colonel James H. Adams, The Morrow
family, a branch of the Pendleton family tree,
stemming from A.J.'s mother, Jemima Kilgore,
became stewards of
PENDLETON RANCH .

he is related to A.J. because both men are originally from
Virginia, and it may have played a role in A.J.'s decision to
move to Gainesville.
